A fifth defendant has had a default judgement entered against them in the Unite The Right rally related case, Sines v. Kessler. The default judgement comes on the heel of four other default judgements which were entered against Andrew Anglin, Augustus Invictus, the East Coast Knights and the Fraternal Order of Alt-Knights.
The Loyal White Knights, which is owned and operated by Chris and Amanda Barker sent a bizarre letter to the court in which they claimed that they would be representing the Loyal White Knights pro-se until such time as they were physically in a courtroom, at which time they were apparently going to retain actual legal representation.
The court shot that down, and yesterday issued a default judgement bringing the total to five defendants who have essentially waived their right to defend themselves. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.
The city of Charlottesville has released the Operational Plan for the August 12th, 2017 Unite The Right rally in response to a FOIA request and subsequent lawsuit filed by two local journalists. The Operational Plan confirms that the rally was scheduled to start at 12pm, despite claims by some in the Alt-Right as well as an "amended" permit application from Jason Kessler which claimed that the rally began at 10am. Well things have now gone from bad to worse for the two Matt's, because attorney's for the Plaintiff's in Sines v. Kessler filed an emergency motion for sanctions against Matt Parrott. But surely the data did not start disappearing this week. On October 11, 2017, Matt Parrott posted the following to Facebook.
In addition, the Traditionalist Worker Party at one time had an event sign-up page for the Unite The Right rally.
The page resided at the URL www.tradworker.org/cville but has since been scrubbed. It's unclear at this time if the data collected at the page was maintained.
Folks, Cville Weekly published an article yesterday in which they detailed a motions hearing for Jacob Goodwin, who is one of the men who has been arrested for his alleged involvement in the beating of Deandre Harris on August 12, 2017 at the Unite The Right rally. In the article, they note that Elmer Woodard does not dispute that Jacob Goodwin was involved in the beating, only that Goodwin should not be in serious trouble because others like Tyler Davis and two mysterious figures known as "Salmon Shirt" and "White Helmet" were apparently more guilty than Goodwin. While Davis has already been arrested, "Salmon Shirt" and "White Helmet" are still on the loose.
Elmer Woodard needs our help folks. Help us find "White Helmet". You may recall that Elmer had previously made the argument for arresting "Boonie Hat" otherwise known as Tyler Davis, a League of the South member from Florida. Lets help Elmer nab "White Helmet"…
