Jason Kessler, who organized the failed Unite The Right rally last August, recently had charges dropped in a criminal case brought against him for alleged perjury stemming from an altercation on Charlottesville's Downtown Mall while he was collecting signature's in an attempt to have Vice-Mayor Wes Bellamy removed from office. A new civil suit filed by James Justin Taylor may set the stage for Kessler to be brought up on brand new charges of perjury. The new civil suit, filed April 3rd in Charlottesville Circuit Court alleges that not only did Kessler perjure himself on a sworn complaint that he filed after the altercation, but that Kessler gave false testimony during his first perjury trial on March 20th. The complaint alleges that Kessler "swore under oath a number of false and material statements".

The second group in as many weeks has seemingly thrown in the towel on future activism in Charlottesville, Virginia. The largest Neo-Nazi organization in the country, the National Socialist Movement, has reportedly caved and agreed not to return to Charlottesville in a group of two or more people while armed. While the consent decree does not stop them from returning individually while armed, the agreement increases the risk of future litigation and will likely deter them from coming back again. The League of the South was the first of many groups being sued by the city of Charlottesville to enter into a voluntary agreement preventing them from exercising their Second Amendment rights as a group. It's unclear if the capitulation of the two groups signals an impending wave of surrender, but both Jason Kessler and former members of the Traditionalist Worker Party have said that they will not compromise and will continue to fight the lawsuit. Look folks, I'm just as mad about this as you are. Elmer Woodard wants to see justice done to "White Helmet", and I do too. So why has the Charlottesville Police Department not sought him out yet? I mean, all they need to do is call ol' Michael Hill and ask him his name, considering he was carrying a League of the South shield on August 12th. 











And if they can't get a hold of ol' Mike Hill, maybe they could check with "Kehne Moeller" (account deleted). It's admittedly his "buddy" after all. Apparently, "White Helmet" is worried about being doxed, or something. 











And if they can't get a hold of "Kehne", perhaps they could check with Hannah Zarski, who admits that she knows who he is, it's just that no one's ever asked, that's all.












So there you go folks, they could probably help Elmer nab "White Helmet" if they wanted to, it would just take motivation, I guess.

Albemarle County Commonwealth's Attorney Robert Tracci is asking Judge Cheryl Higgins to vacate her previous ruling in Jason Kessler's perjury trial and allow Kessler to be retried on the same charges either under the previous indictment or suggesting that Kessler be reindicted. The consensus on this among people I've talked to is pretty much give it up, but we'll see. There's some question about whether or not vacating the previous ruling and allowing this prosecution to go forward would amount to double jeopardy, but according to the case law cited in Tracci's new filing, it wouldn't. It's a Hail Mary at best.

Brad Griffin, the PR Chief for the League of the South apparently doesn't know what to think about a voluntary agreement between the League of the South and the city of Charlottesville to forego their Second Amendment rights. NBC29 reached out to multiple legal experts who can explain it you:



"The Rutherford Institute, which seeks to defend civil liberties, says the group's second amendment rights are not violated in the agreement because it made the choice voluntarily."No one should be bringing weapons to any kind of first amendment protest. You have a general second amendment right to do so. In this case, it doesn't violate the second amendment rights because they agreed to do away with them,” said John Whitehead, Rutherford Institute.The League of the South is allowed to return to Charlottesville and even protest if it chooses to do so--- but members must be peaceful.According to NBC29's legal analyst Lloyd Snook, the group could appeal the decree if it wan…
