Jefferson Davis Monument falls in New Orleans while Confederates watch...

Well folks, that's the ballgame. Jefferson Davis is coming down in New Orleans. Next up, is likely to be Beauregard, now that a judge has denied a last ditch effort to obstruct.

I've heard rumors that these monuments are going to make their way to a museum/exhibit about slavery. How's that for adding context?

I hear that PT Barnum's circus will soon be pulling up the stakes and moving on to the next monument. Popcorn...

Restoring the honor!

  1. That green wrapping or whatever it is makes it look like he is wearing a Tutu...fitting since it was rumored (though not actually true) he was captured in 1865 wearing women's clothing.

    1. I think it had more to do with death threats and the reality that time of day would automatically lesson the possibility of something "evil" happening to people doing their jobs.
