Manufactured Controversy: Video appears to support the University of Mississippi Police Departments version of events in the arrest of Dylan Wood...

Despite multiple media reports now circulating which claim that Dylan Wood was arrested for simply possessing a Mississippi State flag, videos posted to You Tube by MSConservative Daily appear to confirm that officers gave Mr. Wood a choice to leave and face no consequences, or be arrested for disorderly conduct.

The videos seem to destroy the apparent false narrative being spread by some Heritage defenders on social media.

One officer can be seen in the videos removing the stick from the flag. In one video, Mr. Wood can be heard multiple times claiming that the flag was not larger than 8.5" X 11", to which one officer replies, "Bullshit!"

The officer then places the flag on top of an 8.5" X 11" sheet of paper for comparison, the flag clearly larger than the 8.5" X 11" size allowed by regulation.

According to one media report, Senator Chris McDaniel is making wild allegations on social media over the manufactured controversy. I don't think ol' Chris McD. is the only skeptic out there...

  3. I'm not angry, Corey. I will just point out that Wood wasn't the only underage drunk person at the game, so why was he pursued by the cops and others weren't? Flags, baby, flags.

    1. Isn't it time for y'all to put your big boy and girl panties on and start accepting reality, instead of constantly playing victim and throwing temper tantrums like pretty boy did every time you don't get your way?

    2. Connie, I don't know why he was the only one arrested. What he the only one arrested? Maybe he is an angry drunk and that made him standout as a trouble maker.

Also, how do you know there were other underage drunk people at the game, and why is that any of your business?

    3. Wood was clearly breaking the rules Connie, and then he played stupid about it. that's why he was pursued. Y'all (Heritage folks) are disrespecting the rule of law. Had Wood been in possession of a flag that met the previously stated requirement (which the school has every right to set) he probably wouldn't have been stopped, but that's not what he did, now is it? Y'all think you're clever with your brainstorming and pushing of the envelope, but what y'all don't and won't do, is stay within the bounds of the rule of law, and that's the problem. His alleged drunken state, and alleged flask only complicated his piss poor attitude and insistence to argue with a Police officer.

    4. Corey, are you serious? It is extremely common at college football games. You will dispute that?

Are you saying I have no right to have an opinion or comment about it?

  4. Ole Miss, and the education system in Mississippi, has obviously failed that guy if he actually believes that flag is letter sized.

    1. Sledge, the size requirement is another weasel tactic by Ole Miss. It's not a standard size used by flag makers, so its not readily available == might not be available at all. Another example of the university jettisoning its integrity...

  5. Oh no. What happened to the videos? The good news is, I saved them. The bad news is, it will be tonight before I can upload them.

    1. Corey, it appear you don't know what hyperbole is. (Also note, "hyperbole" is not a proper noun and isn't capitalized).
