Reading The Tea Leaves: No, really, reading the Tea Leaves...

Looks like the other shoe is starting to drop. If you remember the third debate, Clinton was way too confident about her insistence that Trump had ties to Russia, and I think we're about to find out why. Via Salon:

"In late July, one of these scientists—who asked to be referred to as Tea Leaves, a pseudonym that would protect his relationship with the networks and banks that employ him to sift their data—found what looked like malware emanating from Russia. The destination domain had Trump in its name, which of course attracted Tea Leaves’ attention. But his discovery of the data was pure happenstance—a surprising needle in a large haystack of DNS lookups on his screen. “I have an outlier here that connects to Russia in a strange way,” he wrote in his notes. He couldn’t quite figure it out at first. But what he saw was a bank in Moscow that kept irregularly pinging a server registered to the Trump Organization on Fifth Avenue."

Uh oh. That doesn't sound good.

Restoring the honor!

  1. Oh shit:

"The FBI has been conducting a preliminary inquiry into Donald Trump's former campaign manager Paul Manafort's foreign business connections, law enforcement and intelligence sources told NBC News Monday.

Word of the inquiry, which has not blossomed into a full-blown criminal investigation, comes just days after FBI Director James Comey's disclosure that his agency is examining a new batch of emails connected to an aide to Hillary Clinton.

And it comes a day after Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid criticized Comey's revelation and asserted that Comey possesses "explosive information about close ties and coordination between Donald Trump, his top advisors, and the Russian government."

    The FBI did not comment."

"Also Monday evening, Mother Jones’s David Corn reported that a former senior spy for a Western country had uncovered evidence that the Kremlin had launched an operation—approved by Putin—to turn Trump into a Russian asset. One memo,

based on the former intelligence officer's conversations with Russian sources, noted, “Russian regime has been cultivating, supporting and assisting TRUMP for at least 5 years. Aim, endorsed by PUTIN, has been to encourage splits and divisions in western alliance.” It maintained that Trump "and his inner circle have accepted a regular flow of intelligence from the Kremlin, including on his Democratic and other political rivals." It claimed that Russian intelligence had "compromised" Trump during his visits to Moscow and could "blackmail him." It also reported that Russian intelligence had compiled a dossier on Hillary Clinton based on "bugged conversations she had on various visits to Russia and intercepted phone calls."
The spy said the FBI was horrified and requested more information, corresponding to a “substantial inquiry.” The FBI wouldn’t comment, though another senior government official vouched for the spy."

  3. Leftist mainstream press is trying to protect Hillary, attempting to divert attention away from the deeep dodo she's sinking deeper in every day by implying similar malfeasance on Trump's part. The preoccupation with Russia is probably to evoke old fears in Americans harkening back to the Cold War, Francis Gary Powers, mutually assured destruction, Sputnik, and all that...

James Carville recently got on MS-NBC and James Comey of working with House Republicans and the KGB -- THE KGB -- to hijack the election. The flippin' KGB hasn't existed since 1991.

Good luck trying to hook Trump up with the Russkies to remove the spotlight from Clinton's breathtakingly high, wide and deep corruption.

The USA and the entire West have far more to fear from Islamic countries than we do from Putin and Russia.

    1. Exactly how do Islamic countries threaten the USA and the West?

    2. Connie is upset that there isn't enough Muslim bashing going on these days and she wants to get back at makes her feel superior since bashing blacks is so last year.

It also appears Connie is using the League of the South for her talking points.
