Reading The Tea Leaves: No, really, reading the Tea Leaves...

Looks like the other shoe is starting to drop. If you remember the third debate, Clinton was way too confident about her insistence that Trump had ties to Russia, and I think we're about to find out why. Via Salon:

"In late July, one of these scientists—who asked to be referred to as Tea Leaves, a pseudonym that would protect his relationship with the networks and banks that employ him to sift their data—found what looked like malware emanating from Russia. The destination domain had Trump in its name, which of course attracted Tea Leaves’ attention. But his discovery of the data was pure happenstance—a surprising needle in a large haystack of DNS lookups on his screen. “I have an outlier here that connects to Russia in a strange way,” he wrote in his notes. He couldn’t quite figure it out at first. But what he saw was a bank in Moscow that kept irregularly pinging a server registered to the Trump Organization on Fifth Avenue."

Uh oh. That doesn't sound good.

What Hath Susie Wrought?: Where is ACTBAC's Roadside Battle Flag?

Now is as good a time as any to remind you that tomorrow is the last day of October 2016, and we are still waiting for ACTBAC to raise their first Roadside Battle Flag. Via the ACTBAC Fundly page:

"A year in the works, This project has come together. In the foot steps of other great Organizations Actbac NC will be raising the first of 23 Confederate roadside memorials beginning October 2016."

Apparently a year isn't enough time. Isn't it about time that Gary Williamson either shows us the flags, or shows us the money?

National Alliance of Faith and Justice a cog in the Virginia Flaggers propaganda machine?

Via the Virginia Flaggers:

"A few weeks ago, Grayson received an intriguing invitation from the President of the National Alliance of Faith and Justice to join them for a dialogue with participants in their moving classroom, as it travels from DC to Alabama this week. She had followed the stories of the Fredericksburg I-95 Battle Flag with great interest since she lives in Stafford, and was hoping to facilitate a lesson on the front end of their journey that would embrace all sides of the discussion. She felt that connecting with someone from the Virginia Flaggers was important to that discussion, and set out to make contact with us. After some discussion and prayer, and based on our positive interaction with the group's president, we decided to accept the invitation and agreed to meet with them.Thursday night, we joined them for supper, and shared information about who we are, what we do, and presented historical information regarding our flags. What was scheduled as a 15 mi…

Hate Not Heritage: "All it takes is one man and a rifle to stop there little parade"...

This post comes to us from one of the three Facebook pages of apparent Patriotic Brigade Knights Grand Dragon Scott Woods, aka "Woodsy" of Natural Bridge, Virginia. Check out Mr. Barnes comment.

I don't want to alarm any of the anti-racists planning to be in Lexington on January 14th, but with a comment like this, I think we need to err on the side of safety. I have forwarded this post to Lexington Mayor Mimi Elrod as a precaution, to make sure that everyone is safe.

Looks like ol' Woodsy is thinking about a protest of his own? I wonder if he will apply for a permit?

Folks, one thing you can be sure of, wherever you find Confederate flags, you are naturally going to find this kind of hate and vitriol. And why not? It's what the flag represents. And would you believe folks, Mr. Barnes is a Facebook friend of our good buddy Steven Monk?

Hate Not Heritage: Hate group leader issues action alert for apparent opposition to Lexington diversity and anti-racism rally...

The President of the League of the South, a designated hate group, has issued an action alert for members of the groups Virginia chapter, for a tentative January demonstration on the same day that an anti-racist group will be holding a Pro-diversity march in Lexington, Virginia. According to various social media posts, the white nationalist hate group will tentatively be joined (at arms length) in Lexington by several different "Heritage" organizations to include the Virginia Flaggers, the Order of the Confederate Rose, the Army of Northern Virginia Mechanized Cavalry (aka SCV biker gang), ACTBAC, Virginia Volunteers of the Confederacy, Sons of Liberty III% SW VA militia, and possibly some random Klansmen.

Although all of these groups have indicated that they will be probably show up in Lexington on January 14th, at this time, we only know of one group who has successfully secured a permit to assemble, C.A.R.E. Rockbridge. In a separate posting on a LOSer Facebook page, Lea…

Countdown to Meltdown: 9 days and counting...

Folks, the polls are definitely tightening. This started prior to the FBI October surprise that dropped Friday afternoon. Everyone knows how these October surprises work, and it was no secret that this was coming, but how dirty and low of Trump. Although the emails probably aren't even relevant to Clinton, and Comey stabbed her right in the back, this news is definitely going to hurt Clinton's chances of winning this election, possibly even costing her this election. We've all been waiting to see what the next shoe is to drop. I said before, that Clinton isn't going to drop her October surprise (if she has one, and I find it hard to believe that she doesn't) until sometime between November 1-3.  Reason being, they want it to be fresh in voters minds as they go to the polls. It takes between 5-7 days for the results of these news stories to really start to be reflected in polling.

Pretty much everything that happens this week, we won't really know how it affec…

ICYMI: Virginia Confederate flagger reportedly indicted by a grand jury on 52 counts of reproducing child pornography...

Folks, lest we forget. Keep in mind, this is a grand jury indictment, not a conviction, but we all know how this story ends. Folks, I really cannot wait to share Mr. Sulser's history of flagging in Virginia, and I plan on doing just that as soon as he has his day in court. It's going to be so much fun to take a trip down memory lane!

Meet a nice, normal Virginia Flaggers supporter named Jason Bertera...

Folks, the Virginia Flaggers can always count on their supporters, like Jason Bertera to be there when they need them most.

And as you can see, the Flaggers love to have the support of fine, upstanding folks, just like Mr. Bertera.

Heritage Victim Mentality: The Sons of Confederate Veterans cry us a river...

"LEXINGTON, Va. (WSET) - The Sons of Confederate Veterans is upset that Lexington granted a parade route to a different organization.According to a release sent by the SCV, the city council approved a request for CARE to hold a parade at the same time and place as their traditional Annual Lee-Jackson Day events hosted by the organization.A statement from the SCV reads in part:"It is no secret that some members of the council, the outgoing mayor who forced through the vote, and the college elites have great disdain for the traditional values and views of the native community who still commemorate their Confederate history. These elitists have worked tirelessly to intimidate local venues in an attempt to disrupt the SCV's commemoration of the lives of Robert E. Lee and Thomas J. “Stonewall” Jackson in their final home and resting place."Officials say the action is an "attempt to silence the viewpoints of those they disagree with." They say the SCV …

Confederate Catfight: South Carolina Secessionist Party vs. The South Carolina Division of the Sons of Confederate Veterans

These are some pretty strong accusations being made here. Potentially libelous if untrue. Via FITS NEWS:

"One Southern heritage group in the Palmetto State is challenging another over its ongoing campaign to erect a monument to the South Carolina signers of the 1860 Ordinance of Secession. It’s a “Civil War,” if you will.According to the S.C. Secessionist Party, the proposed monument – which is being pushed by the South Carolina division of the Sons of Confederate Veterans (SCSCV) – represents “a case of good intentions being warped by bad leadership.”“No formal budget was put into place at the initiation of this project (which) has come to cost far more than originally expected,” party leaders claim. The SCSCV has been pushing for years to erect a “Secession Monument” somewhere in South Carolina – although its efforts to locate the monument in Charleston, North Charleston and (most recently) Mount Pleasant, S.C. have all been rebuffed. The SCSCV’s plan is to erect an 11.5-foot stat…

Hate Not Heritage: The opposite of being against something is...

...Being for it. In this case, racism. Some "Heritage" folks are really, really angry that any group would have theaudacity to promote peace, love, diversity, inclusion, tolerance, and equal rights for all humans. You know? The opposite of everything Donald Trump and his deplorable followers hold dear. Via The Virginia Flaggers:

"These folks may call themselves "anti-racists", but in reality, they are leftist extremists who call out even a small gathering in a cemetery to honor Jackson on the day of his death as dangerous and an attempt to "reclaim whiteness"."

By the way folks, Susan Hathaway's pal Denny is using a white power slogan in the post above. "Anti-Racist is (a) code(word) for Anti-White" is a white supremacist catchphrase known as "The Mantra", which was coined by well-known white power propagandist Robert "Bob" Whitaker

It would seem that the Virginia Flaggers true purpose and feelings are creepin…

Countdown to Meltdown: 12 days and counting...

Folks, I expected the polls to tighten as election day draws near, but so far, it hasn't materialized. Via 538:

"It seems like we’re overdue for another round of “is the presidential race tightening?” And the answer isn’t totally clear. Our model thinks Donald Trump has probably narrowed his deficit against Clinton slightly, but the difference is modest enough that we’ve wanted to change our answer with every new round of polls. And in general, we’re reluctant to proclaim any turnaround in the race while we still have to squint to see a shift."

The piece concludes by adding:

"With all that said, Trump’s chances of winning the election haven’t improved very much in our forecast. His odds are 15 percent in our polls-only forecast, not appreciably changed from 13 percent a week ago, and 16 percent in our polls-plus forecast, as compared with 15 percent last week. That’s because the modest gains Trump has made are partly offset by time running off the clock, and the numb…

League of the South looking to capitalize on Post-Trump loss anger with secession petitions...

Folks, as I said weeks ago, come November 8th, there are going to be a ton of stunned Trump supporters. Trump knows he is going to lose the election, which is why he is pushing this "rigged" election rhetoric so hard. Trump's supporters know it as well, they are just having a hard time admitting it. So where do all of these folks turn to next for their next, even more better, Great White Savior? Hate groups like the League of the South are banking on capitalizing on all of that pent up anger with secession petitions. They want to get the petitions out now, so that when the shock wears off, all of those angry Southerners will be ripe for their picking. I've said before that there are a certain number of Rainbow Confederates who will find this message attractive, and then there will be others who will be too skeered to throw in with white nationalists. It will be fun to watch this all play out. Any guesses which side folks like Hathaway and Chastain shake out on? The …
