Hate Not Heritage: Valerie Protopapas on slavery and the intelligence of blacks...

Valerie Protopapas pens an article for the racist and Anti-Semitic monthly tabloid The First Freedom on slavery. (Image courtesy of The First Freedom)

Folks, meet Valerie Protopapas of Huntington Station, New York. A Yankee Confederate Heritage activist it would appear, and one who is apparently held in high regard by some Heritage folks.

I thought that Tripp had dispatched her back to her Muslim handlers? Oh dear...

Well, that's a shocker.

Restoring the honor!

  1. "Karen's "reasoning" makes our case."

    Gotta love it folks!

  2. Here's an excellnt test case to show us whether Chastain and her ilk reject racism. Let's see her denounce Protopapas and disassociate herself from this vile person. Let's see Hathaway do the same thing.

If they don't, well, you have your answer ... as well as evidence that they really don't care about Karen Cooper and exploit her as a token.

  3. Nah, I think I'll keep her as a FB contact just to piss you and Jacob off, Simpson....

    1. Hogwash. We all know why.

      "Compromise is fatal."

      Have it your way.

    2. It doesn't annoy me at all when you prove I'm right.

You're the one who argued that results reveal intentions.

    3. No hogwash, Jacob. If you could see (but of course, you can't) Valerie and I have almost zero communications through our Facebook "friendship."

Now, what "why" do you imagine that you know?

But Simpson, you don't know the results. You only know what you THINK of them.

    4. Connie, do you remember that time when Susan was on Michael Cushman's podcast? I do.

    5. No. I don't listen to podcasts, of anybody. I barely watch internet videos.... I prefer text.

  4. Thank for making my point. Alerted as to bigotry within the Confederate heritage movement, Chastain doubles down and embraces all the more.

That explains why people associate Confederate heritage with bigotry and white supremacy ...

    That was too easy, Chastain.

  5. Well, defying you and your lies and hate, Simpson, isn't embracing bigotry (there's that wrongly used "embrace" word again). I can't read the article Jacob posted, enlarging it just blurs out the type worse, but as for comments following, a lot of "nonracists" said the same thing about newly freed slaves -- they were incapable of providing for themselves. That's why the Freedmen's Bureau was created. Presumably, the "legacy of slavery" is why we have Affirmative Action today. These are racist efforts? What a perfect example of anti-racist jackassery....

    1. Ah, so the existence of the Freedmen's Bureau proves people thought blacks were incapable of providing for themselves? Evidence, please.

You just don't know anything about history ... you just explore your racist beliefs.

Guess what ... the Bureau fed more whites than blacks. So how incapable are white people? You are free to cite yourself as a prime example.

    2. So, it helped whites. It was created to aid freed slaves.

So you're saying they didn't need to be taught anything about providing for themselves? Hooookay.

    3. You don't read very well, do you? Then again, you don't write very well, either. So it figures.

Thus you show yourself as an incapable white person. Fair enough. Now ask the Freedmen's Bureau for help ... as I'm sure you're already on government assistance from the very people you say you despise.

  6. Jacob, re Tripp and Karen -- you're still stuck with the initial exchange that appeared on Facebook. You don't know what has happened since. That's the problem with a lot of the things you post... They've been OBE, they've moved on and you don't know the current situation...

    1. Actually, what's happened since is that Karen's come under racist attacks from other people on Facebook, and you have no interest in defending her or criticizing her assailants. That's becvause you have no interest in separating Confederate heritage from racism. In fact, you wrap your racism in the folds of the Confederate flag.
