Nothing like slapping a Muslim in the face with bacon to prove that you're tolerant and peaceful. This coming from the same losers who FAILed in court on Friday.

Note that southern slaveholders stole and attempted to replace someone's culture, too. Yet you never seemed bothered if the victims are black.

And you wonder why people think you're a racist.

...or was it the owners of northern slave ships?
New York City. Boston. Capitals of the slave trade.

    3. Yes, that exonerates that South. After all, what were they to do? People were selling blacks. The South had no choice.

    4. Southern slave-holders were solely responsible for slavery and culture-stealing from blacks? I believe other blacks in Africa started the process... Europeans and Arabs continued it. Whites throughout the colonies, not just the Southern ones, continued it... but you only see Southern slaveholders as responsible. That's why I see you as a selective hater.

    5. "Southern slave-holders were solely responsible for slavery and culture-stealing from blacks?" - No. They were just more devoted to it.

"I believe other blacks in Africa started the process" - Still doesn't do anything to exonerate the South in attempting to create a perpetual slave nation.

"but you only see Southern slaveholders as responsible" - Because of their insistence on it and what they tried to establish.

      orgiastic adjective

      1. of, relating to, or having the nature of an orgy.
      2. tending to arouse or excite unrestrained emotion:
      orgiastic rhythms.

    6. Another case of Chastain playing dumb.

      Delete
    7. OK, y'all. Connie says she never knew the meaning behind "14 words". So, I see the problem, maybe she's also unaware of twitter and the #iamthenewsouth, too.

Connie, twitter is a social media platform that the yung'ns use to communicate to the masses in 140 characters or less. In these communiques, they use "hashtags" denoted with a preceding "#". "#iamthenewsouth" arose after the South Carolina killings and the uproar over the CBF. It's the millennials way of staking their claim in what they consider their home, the South. In other words, this isn't the "Old South" anymore.

So, while you want to act as though we are always on the lookout for race, you are the one that sees what is presumably a muslim woman wearing a South Carolina t-shirt holding a sign saying she is the new South, as some kind of attack on your heritage and an attempt to steal your culture.

You aren't the only one that matters. Don't force us to participate in your "Days Gone By" nostalgia.

    9. sledge, nice rambling, excuse-making, but yes, she is indeed attacking my heritage. She's not attempting to steal my culture, though, but to remove and replace it -- at least, appearancewise. It is ludicrous to imagine that Roof's shooting is the sum total of the "Old South" you reference. And actually, it was Jacob who originally saw this in terms of race.

If somebody came and stood on your front porch holding a sign saying, "I am the new owner of this property" without having bought it, just showed up one day, would they suddenly become the new owner of your home?

Well, tough. There is no white culture and never has been. Culture in this nation has always included minorities. You and your kind just don't want to acknowledge this.

Americans are rejecting your fantasy world because it is not true.

    5. LOL... white supremacy... LOL.

Dimmy, if I were a white supe, I wouldn't have dare let the wonderful doctor who recently performed surgery on me even touch me. He did a masterful job (as good or better than the very handsome white-bread midwesterner who performed related surgery on me five years ago) and I really like and admire him. And am very thankful to and for him.

There's so much you don't know --totally ignorant of-- that you're always -- and I do mean always -- blathering about. Your imaginary racism-detector didn't detect that my recent reality, so you substituted your own hateful hallucination. Like nearly everything else you call racism and white supremacy, you don't know the reality so you... Make. It. Up.

Lots of people prefer their fantasies to reality for a variety of reasons; you prefer your dark figments because they stoke what you love best -- your hate.

Certainly there is a white culture. There are all kinds of cultures, and white is one of 'em. You'd argue with that? Are you saying they all exist except white? My gosh, Dimmy, I myself am of a nonwhite culture (my grandmother is listed on one, maybe two, Cherokee census rolls taken by the government, and earlier ancestors are on earlier rolls). My sister has recently done genealogical research with the Cherokee so we can obtain tribal membership. Didn't know that, did you? Doesn't fit your fantasy, does it?

You are sooooooo ignorant, and you sooooo embrace your ignorance, because it lets you be hateful and reality wouldn't let you do that. Enjoy your hate fantasies, though, Dimmy. In the long run, they doesn't matter, and you don't matter.

What makes you think the Cherokee would want you as a member? Should we contact them and let them know just who you are and let them see your racism?

Here's a secret you don't know. If you identify as white, have no connection to Native Americans other than a piece of paper saying one of your ancestors was a Native America, and have no idea of what reservation life is, you are not a Native American. Don't try to pass yourself off as something you are not. Especially after you made so many racist claims over the years like you have. And don't say to prove it. You've proven your racism on multiple blogs over the years but are too ignorant to understand that you are racist.

    8. LOL, Dimmy! It doesn't matter what they want. Citizenship laws are what matter. If you meet the criteria set by the Cherokee government, you are in. (BTW, your swaggering claims do not determine who is a native American, and it is funny to watch you blow such totally-devoid-of-authority hot air.) My sister and I meet it (her sons, too). She has already applied for, and been granted, citizenship in the Cherokee nation by the government in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. All that remains for my application is to obtain a birth certificate certified by the state of Georgia, and I'll be a citizen of the Cherokee nation, too. I know that distresses you. hahahaah But ya know what? You don't have anything to do with it, and there's nothing you can do about it.

And it wasn't one ancestor ... it was several generations of them.

Identify as....? Why, Dimmy, have you been off-planet for a while? We are living in the era of IDENTIFYING AS .... of being whatEVER you wish to identify as! Man who identifies as a woman? Welcome to the women's bathroom. Welcome to the women's olympic teams. White woman who identifies as black? Run your local NAACP. As Cherokee? Get affirmative action jobs...

Dimmy, you are courting the looney bin. My racist claims? You could produce one if your life depended on it.

    9. No problem. I will be most happy to let them see you as the racist scum you are.

Yeah, I'm sure you have no problem being a racist hypocrite. Honesty and integrity are not values you possess.

Racist claims? Practically every time you post something your racism is apparent. Yet, you reject the very idea because it is part of your Lie and Deny existence.

No matter how much you screech, you can not stop being the racist you are.

As a Native American you are expected to reject White Supremacy.

Move to the reservation and experience what it is really like to be Native American. You can't do it because you can't give up your white privilege which you claim doesn't exist.

As a Native American you should be against the Keystone Pipeline or any other pipeline built across the lands belonging to Native Americans.

      You won't do that either.

Is she saying that non-whites can't be racists?

    20. Poor KKKonnie, totally unwilling to accept reality. Always screeching about how someone needs to link to her posts. What's the matter KKKonnie? Can't read your own words after you post them?

You are a racist. Anyone that believes in a separate white culture does so out of racist ignorance. Your own blog is loaded in racism and you just lie and deny about it.

So just sit there in your bed and continue to lie and deny. Be the hypocrite you are with your Native American fantasy. You don't even acknowledge just who your ancestors were and what they did. Brooks pointed out who the Chastains were in his blog. Bet you are proud of them and how they drove out the Cherokee.

      Delete
    21. For someone supposedly too ill to blog, Chastain sure writes a lot here. So perhaps the explanation is to be found elsewhere.

      Delete
    22. Dimmy:
"Move to the reservation and experience what it is really like to be Native American."

That's racist - to think that all Native Americans live on a reservation.

Btw Dimmy, what government created those reservations?

      Delete
    23. So Dimmy, have you been on the horn to Bill John Baker today, telling him to not let me in? LOL!

I find this declaration of yours to be a scream: "If you identify as white, have no connection to Native Americans other than a piece of paper saying one of your ancestors was a Native America, and have no idea of what reservation life is, you are not a Native American."

Just out of curiosity, who gave you the authority to make that judgment? How long have you had it? LOL!

And yet that is EXACTLY what it takes to become eligible for citizenship in the Cherokee Nation -- the "piece of paper" being the Final Dawes Roll. From The Cherokee Phoenix:

"The Cherokee Nation does not have a blood quantum for citizenship or for holding office. Citizens only need to have a Cherokee blood ancestor listed on the Final Dawes Rolls." http://www.cherokeephoenix.org/Article/Index/5025

You are just steppin' in it every which way you turn, aren't you, Dimmy?

Then there's this: "...and have no idea of what reservation life is, you are not a Native American." Apparently you think "having an idea of what reservation life is," means living on one, because elsewhere you say:
"Move to the reservation and experience what it is really like to be Native American."

Well, Dimmy, if living on a reservation is what it takes to BE a native American, or even to experience what it is LIKE to be one, 88% of native Americans are not native Americans, or don't know what it's like to be one. That's because, per the Census, only 22% of the native American population of the USA lives on a reservation.

You swaggering blowhard pretending to be so smart, spouting off about things you know nothing about, making an utter fool of yourself in a desperate attempt to wrongly call somebody else "racist"... you are a laughingstock...

      Delete
    24. Well, Dimmy, my sister has corrected me. Sez she, "The other thing is, it was the Bureau of Indian Affairs who declared me Cherokee, not the Cherokee Nation. They issued me my CDIB card. And the Cherokee Nation issued me my citizenship card." So it is actually the feds who are usurping your authority to say who and who is not native American. You might want to put a stop to that. (You might also get onto the BIA for using that insulting, non-PC term, Indian.)

Even worse than that, the Cherokee Nation has begun a website for "off the reservation" Cherokees who don't live in Oklahoma, i.e., "Cherokees-at-large." Bill John Baker, the Principal Chief of the Cherokee Nation, has traveled to various locations (Florida, Texas, California), meeting those who don't live in Oklahoma. According to you, those folks are not real native Americans. Did Bill John clear that with you?

Oh, and lest you think all this signin' up for Cherokee citizenship has anything to do with seeking guvamint benefits, my sister began the process to get citizenship for my father, because he has long been proud of his Cherokee ancestry, but knew little about how to document or verify it. The process takes a long time, two years minimum, and unfortunately my father passed away before his application could be completed. But his documentation is also my documentation, and my sisters... and now her sons'.

Neither she nor I would think of applying for benefits ... we already have what we need.

One more thing... The Western Band of Cherokee (Tahlequah, OK.) is the entity she applied to, on the basis of our ancestor who went from north Georgia to Oklahoma in the late 1900s. But it's the EASTERN Band in Cherokee, NC, you need to check up on, Dimmy. Sis sez the Cherokees up in North Carolina will dress up in Plains Indians garb and pose out side of Plains tipis for tourists to take pictures of them. And the tourists have no clue that Cherokees did not wear feathered bonnets nor live in tipis.
