Is ACTBAC a non-profit?

Folks, I don't have to tell you that Heritage groups are depending on crowdsourcing as their number one vehicle for raising hate flag money. Many of these groups are claiming to be charities and non-profits. Some of them are. Some of them aren't. Lest we forget why non-profit status is important in the first place. Enter Almanac County Taking Back Almanac County NC, run by Gary Williamson. Where does ACTBAC fit into the big picture of hate flag groups?

They claim to be a non-profit, since at least last month. No matter how we search on the North Carolina Secretary of State Non-Profit search page, we can't find any record of a non-profit by that name. What gives folks? Is ACTBAC a non-profit, or what? Folks, if you can find any registration for a non-profit under that name, please email us at rblee22468@gmail.com. In the meantime, go check out ACTBAC's Fundly page. Efforts to raise close to $30,000 for hate flags appears to be hopelessly stalled around the $700 mark.

Restoring the honor!
