Missing child once photographed playing amongst live ammunition and Confederate flags has been found

This is wonderful news.  Unfortunately, there are still many unanswered questions about the childs disappearance. As the FBI was involved with this case, I am sure they are exploring all avenues.

We're not surprised in the least about the new developments in this story, or in the connections between the kidnapper and her boyfriend to a group we are very familiar with, the Virginia Flaggers. Nor are we surprised by the insane views of the kidnapper and her boyfriend, as they are pretty mainstream views held by some of the Confederate Heritage crowd. What remains to be seen is if the Virginia Flaggers will speak out on the kidnapping. So far, the group hasn't even expressed relief that the child was found. What a shame.

Via Inquisitr:

"Megan Everett’s family was always adamant that her sudden pro-Confederate “Flagger” attitudes and beliefs were the result of spending time with Lesters. She went on unusual rants about such diverse subject as Dora the Explorer, Medicaid, and Abraham Lincoln. Her sister noted that she had never been interested before in history, much less “this warped version.” In multiple photos taken in Lesters’ home, Lilly could be seen playing amongst boxes of open ammunition and also sitting next to Lesters and Everett when they had guns strapped to their hips. Lilly could also be seen in photos taken of Virginia Flagger rallies (often being the only child there). Despite these photos, as well as both Everett’s sister and mother saying Lilly should be in the custody of her father, a Broward County judge ruled Baumann and Everett should maintain joint custody of Lilly. When Baumann arrived to pick up his daughter at the apartment Everett and Lesters shared, they were gone. Lesters told him they had moved away, but gave no other details before slamming the door in Baumann’s face. Lesters had always maintained he did not know Everett’s and Lilly’s whereabouts."

And according to the Sun Sentinel:

"Lilly's parents disagreed about several issues, including whether Lilly should attend preschool. Everett did not want her daughter to be vaccinated, and Baumann did, according to family members and public records.
In a 2014 interview with the Sun Sentinel, Baumann said Everett didn't want their daughter to learn about black history and "just wanted her to learn about the Confederacy."
Lesters was described in court records as a Confederate flag-waving gun enthusiast and Baumann said he was uncomfortable with his toddler daughter being around guns and ammunition."

It remains to be seen if anyone else was involved with, or knew details that were being withheld from the authorities about the kidnapping of Lilly Baumann. Authorities are still investigating.

Restoring the honor!
