Save Our South, a Confederate Heritage advocacy group who recently filed a lawsuit to protect a Confederate Memorial in Linn Park, Birmingham, Alabama also has a White Nationalist hate group member on it's Board of Directors.

The lawsuit was filed on behalf of Save Our South by Attorney Melvin Hasting. Save Our South held a press conference to discuss the lawsuit and other topics. Deanna Frankowski of Alabama Constitutional Conservatives and Save Our South spoke at the press conference about the lawsuit and also told reporters that Black Confederate Heritage activist Anthony Hervey was killed in some sort of "road rage" or "personal vendetta" against him. Frankowski says that Hervey was "ran off the road" and says that the group believes it was because of Hervey's "Pro-Confederate values". To date, Police have found no evidence that another vehicle was involved in the wreck and have asked for the public's help in verifying that account of the events, which supposedly lead to the death of Mr. Hervey.

Save Our South is apparently raising money to use to offer as a reward for anyone who can help lead them to Mr. Hervey's killers (if they exist). Since July 19th, the group has raised $950 of the $10,000 needed for the reward.

The Board of Director of Save Our South, Charles Andrew Bodenheimer is rumored to be set to speak at a secession rally to be held this weekend in Montgomery, Alabama. The rally, which is being organized by a Confederate Flagging group known as the Alabama Flaggers has attracted the attention of the Southern Poverty Law Center who has noted that Bodenheimer is a member of the White Nationalist hate group the League of the South.

Bodenheimer, who is also a member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans has laughed at the notion that anyone would care that he is a member of a hate group, even going so far as mocking the Southern Poverty Law Center. Ironically, the Sons of Confederate Veterans have an Anti-Hate Group policy which they apparently do not care to enforce.

The League of the South is an extremely Anti-American hate group which has advocated for a return to Jim Crow era segregation. The groups leader Michael Hill has lashed out at African Americans calling them "Niggers" and speculated on Blacks losing a "race war".
